Unsplash is releasing for free the most complete high-quality open image dataset ever  for anyone to use to further research in machine learning, image quality, search engines, and more. The company says the more than 2 million images, from more than 200,000 global photographers, includes 16GB of accompanying data, including:

  • keyword-image conversions in search results
  • community and AI-generated keywords
  • EXIF, location, and landmarks
  • image categories and subcategories
  • user generated collections and groupings of images
  • image views and downloads stats

Unspalsh is releasing the data in two versions: a lite dataset available for commercial and noncommercial usage, and the full dataset available for noncommercial usage.  Visit the Unsplash Dataset to access the datasets, see Github for the documentation.
